Rug Cleaning London

Rug peeling is a specialized treatment applied on old rugs in order to revitalize them, and on new rugs that are not properly finished. As peeling causes the dead skin to slough off and give its place to the regenerated smooth skin, rug peeling removes the unwanted and unnecessary fibres and defects of the rug pile surface.
Rug peeling is:
• Reducing the length of irregular pile fibers.
• Removing undesirable knots which are appearing on the rug pile surface.
• A gentle shaving, removing the discolored fibre edges is tonifying the rug colours.
• Rug peeling is a necessary procedure when an area of the rug is rewoven during restoration.
