Rug Restoration Treatments

Antique rugs at the time of their making were made to be used, not collected.
They always show small or major damages, often more or less skilfully repaired in the past.
Damage occurs through use or improper storage and results to aesthetic problems and loss of the value of the piece.
In the case of holes, cuts, colour changes, colour fading, or dimensional changes, a decision has to be made to repair the piece in order to restore it to its original condition.
